Ken interviewed people who were interested in the job.
・There are many students in my class who want to study Spanish.

The mountain which I climbed last year was Mt.Fuji.
・There are many students in the class whom I don not know.

Ken saw a girl whose name was Susan.
・John is from a country whose official language is Spanish.

What

What I like about Ken is his voice.
・John is different from what he was.
・I don’t know what Ken likes.
・The world isn’t what it was.

Japan was the country which I visited two years ago.

Japan was the country where I went two years ago.

Japan was the country which I went to two years ago.
・Japan was the country to which I went two years ago.
・Japan was the country I went to two years ago.

・Japan is the country where I live.
Japan is the country which I live in.
Japan is the country in which I live.

The time might come when global warming can be solved.
・I do not know the reason why John was late for school.
・I do now know how John finished the task.

I don’t know where Ken went.
・I don’t know when he finished the task.
・I don’t know how John finished the task.
How John finished the task was unknown.
・This is how we do it.

I don’t know who finished the task.
・I don’t know which I should choose.
・I don’t know what Ken ate.

howと同じようにthe wayも使えます。

・I don’t know the way John finished the task.
・I don’t know the way in which John finished the task.
The way John finished the task was unknown.
・This is the way we do it.

Ken saw Susan, who graduated from the University of Tokyo.

Ken has a son who graduated from the University of Tokyo.
Ken has a son, who graduated from the University of Tokyo.

I’m from Tokyo, which a lot of people visit.
・I’m from Tokyo, where a lot of foreigners come.

Ken finally saw Susan, which made him happy.
John said he saw Susan, which was a complete lie.

A person with whom I grew up contacted me recently.
A person who(m) I grew up with contacted me recently.

all of, many of, most ofなどが出てくるとwhoではなくwhom (前置詞+関係代名詞)になります。

・I talked to the protesters all of whom were students.

The man who I thought was a manager was actually the president.
The class which Ken said was the best to take was already full.

Whoever comes early can recive a free gift.
Whoever becomes our leader, I’ll support her.
Whichever Ken buys, Susan will probably be happy.
Whatever Ken buys, Susan will probably be happy.

・Choose whichever you like.
Choose whichever book you like.
Choose whatever you like.
・Choose whatever book you like.

Wherever Susan goes, John follows her.
Whenever Susan is happy, John is happy.

However difficult the task is, John won’t give up.
However hard he tries, John cannot make Susan happy.
